Sarah Johnston (She/Her) MSW, RSW

Founder, Clinical Director & Clinical Supervisor

I believe mental health is an ever-changing journey and sometimes we need a guide for support. I consider it an honour to be that guide, as we work together to help you bloom into your most authentic self.

I have worked in mental health for over 10-years, primarily with young adults, adults, youth and those within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I specialize in these areas, with lived experience in both mental health, and the queer community. In my practice I ensure we look at all aspects that make you uniquely you!

I use a variety of therapeutic interventions in my practice with a focus on creating an environment that is safe, collaborative, empowering, and utilizes choice. Connection is my passion, and as your guide, we will go beyond the emotional blocks of pain. I look forward to building an understanding of self, creating happiness and feeling the sensation of relief.

Pekhna Kaur (She/Her) Registered Psychotherapist (Q)

Addictions Counsellor & Expressive Art Therapist

Embarking on a journey of self-discovery means not only facing the challenges that weigh us down—procrastination, addiction, burnout, depression, relationship struggles or simply feeling stuck—but also making space for the emotions underneath: loneliness, loss, fear, shame, and the quiet ache of not feeling fully seen.

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by lived experiences- close proximity to family members struggling with their mental health, healing encounters with the arts, the communal aspect of the Indian way of relating, my own therapeutic journey, and deep curiosity about the human experience and our internal worlds. I am EFT trained, have completed IFS-level one-training, have my diploma in expressive arts therapy & have completed UBC's online certification in Addiction Care and Treatment.

What sets me apart as a therapist is that we don't just talk about our problems—we create space for real, embodied shifts that support lasting change. The idea is to carry the work out of the session, and not just feel like disembodied pieces of knowledge we carry.
