Sarah Johnston (She/Her) MSW, RSW
Founder, Clinical Director & Clinical Supervisor
I believe mental health is an ever-changing journey and sometimes we need a guide for support. I consider it an honour to be that guide, as we work together to help you bloom into your most authentic self.
I have worked in mental health for over 10-years, primarily with young adults, adults, youth and those within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I specialize in these areas, with lived experience in both mental health, and the queer community. In my practice I ensure we look at all aspects that make you uniquely you!
I use a variety of therapeutic interventions in my practice with a focus on creating an environment that is safe, collaborative, empowering, and utilizes choice. Connection is my passion, and as your guide, we will go beyond the emotional blocks of pain. I look forward to building an understanding of self, creating happiness and feeling the sensation of relief.

Pekhna Kaur (She/Her) Registered Psychotherapist (Q)
Addictions Counsellor & Expressive Art Therapist
Embarking on a journey of self-discovery means not only facing the challenges that weigh us down—procrastination, addiction, burnout, depression, relationship struggles or simply feeling stuck—but also making space for the emotions underneath: loneliness, loss, fear, shame, and the quiet ache of not feeling fully seen.
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by lived experiences- close proximity to family members struggling with their mental health, healing encounters with the arts, the communal aspect of the Indian way of relating, my own therapeutic journey, and deep curiosity about the human experience and our internal worlds. I am EFT trained, have completed IFS-level one-training, have my diploma in expressive arts therapy & have completed UBC's online certification in Addiction Care and Treatment.
What sets me apart as a therapist is that we don't just talk about our problems—we create space for real, embodied shifts that support lasting change. The idea is to carry the work out of the session, and not just feel like disembodied pieces of knowledge we carry.

As a caring and compassionate individual, I provide my clients with a safe and supportive environment while working towards your therapeutic goals. Life can bring a variety of challenges, together we explore any challenges openly and free of judgment.
I believe in the power of connection; together, we can navigate the therapeutic journey rooting in our shared empathy. We will tap into our inner strengths and recognize how we can bring these qualities into our everyday lives. Beginning therapy is courageous, and I will be your guide as we work through concerns while adding new skills to your toolbox.
Whether you are experiencing stress or anxiety from work, school, or life transitions, I am confident that we can collectively work toward happiness and joy. I specialize in working with youth and adults who are looking to understand themselves, lower stress, manage anxiety and depression, and build skills for ongoing relief. Together we can embrace your journey, one petal at a time.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and am currently in the final steps of obtaining a Master's Degree In Counselling Psychology. I embrace diversity and prioritize creating a space that celebrates differences, and I can commit to bringing this mentality into sessions.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my very energetic four-year-old boxer and finding new trails together.

Samantha Carpino (She/Her)
I am an experienced Yoga teacher with over 16,000 hours of in-class experiences and facilitation in my Yoga Teacher Training certification program. I have a passion for understanding the mechanics of the body & mind and have used Yoga as a tool to enhance well-being and personal development in myself & my students for over a decade.
My studies in Astrology officially began in 2015 with the Moon. My curiosities from childhood led me down a path that eventually gained my recognition as a certified astrologer in 2020. Since then, I have pursued the path of Yoga & Astrology together to create a synergistic method of living aligned on Earth with the cosmos.
In learning to understand myself through Yoga and Astrology, I have been sharing this gift with others that enter my circle. In my work with Blooming Rose Therapy, I am to guide you through the holistic experience as we pair the body, mind and soul together to embrace your journey, one petal at a time.
